Photo: Kayley from Kansas
John and I are married. Grew up down the block from each other, strolled to the corner ice cream shoppe on a date in fifth grade, went to prom together, and were wed September 5, 2010.
We don’t have a fancy “photographic awakening” story. (There’s no “for as long as I can remembers” here) We studied the art of photography in high school and college -- learned in the darkroom, became purists, realized that was a far fetched dream, bought digital cameras.
We began documenting weddings together in 2008 and never thought we would be so in love with it. There’s something unexpectedly addicting about seeing each unique and raw moment and capturing it the way we see it. It’s beautiful, really.
We love sunny mornings in our home, good music, family, Chicago, coffee, bike rides, long meals on the porch, California, Jesus, garage sales.
And we would love to hear from you.
